Yes, you heard it right. The negative effects of Bollywood. This is my own view, I have nothing against Bollywood. The basic thing to be understood is that if you are watching a scene for a couple of times then it will be implanted into your subconscious mind. Anything, be it visual or audio, when listened over and over again then that idea or information pertaining to stimulation will reside into your subconscious mind.
So if you fail to understand the correct message that was conveyed through those movies, then there is a problem. And hence, many controversies.
Let's take any kind of typical movie, it comprises of hero, heroine, and villain. I don't know whether you have noticed, but most of the villains are ugly and of dark complexion.
This leads to racism, from facewash to fair and lovely advertisement.
Every time the hero saves the heroine, and not the other way round, most people would love to see some twist. Psychologically this leads to false impressions, and i.e only men commit crimes in women's minds. Not only this, but there are also many irrational physics-defying scenes.
There are many movies which make people look like a stud. But the reality is far different.
Actually, a motion picture has enough potential to wash the minds of people. they can suppress their cognitive skills to some extent. Which is why people tend to fail to get the actual message.
Anyway, the main target is people, they should be literate enough to grasp the authentic message that has been conveyed by a movie.
It's easier to remember visual stuff.
Here are some of the negative of Bollywood:-
1. Having a relationship with multiple girls is what makes you a cool dude, which is not. If you believe in this kind of shit then I'm sorry to say, but bro you are being fooled.
2.Drinking, partying, smoking and having sex is the only way to enjoy life. I mean come on man there are 1000s kinds of stuff out there, you can try and enjoy it.
3. The relationships you see over there, my friend those are farfetched. Forget those and experience reality.
As said earlier that videos have a much greater impact than books or texts. So this also carves the thought-process of youth.
See, I'm not against movies or anything, it's just people should understand the difference between scripted or virtual reality and reality. Every movie has a beautiful message, ignoring those is ludicrous.
